Who We Are

Main Street Mount Holly is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and enhancing historic Mount Holly’s downtown and surrounding community. We believe in local economic development and community revitalization as the foundation for a thriving downtown.

Our Approach

We accomplish our mission through three core initiatives:

Downtown Events – We host festivals, celebrations, and special events throughout the year that showcase Mount Holly’s historic character and transform first-time visitors into loyal patrons.

Promoting Local Businesses – Through networking meetings and community activities, we focus on “keeping it local,” ensuring that Mount Holly’s small businesses continue to thrive and grow.

Strengthening the Local Economy – Via historic preservation efforts, we create economic vitality that benefits both businesses and residents.

Community-Powered Leadership

Our success relies on committed board members, dedicated volunteers, and block champions who contribute their time, energy, and expertise. We hold monthly board meetings (every third Tuesday, 7:00-8:30pm) and quarterly networking gatherings at local venues. The community is welcome to attend—simply email us in advance to let us know you’re coming.
